What is an Accelerator?

An accelerator is an organization or program that provides valuable mentorship, guidance, and resources to scaling businesses and startups. Typically, the accelerator culminates in a graduation or "demo day." Most modern startup accelerator programs offer capital funding in exchange for equity or a stake in the company.
