Why does every boardroom look the same?

It’s been more than 100 years since Robert’s Rules of Order was originally published and many modern boards still operate using its playbook.

However, in an age where organizational agility and adaptation are more important than ever, why do the behaviors that drive board governance appear to be impervious to change?

Join board effectiveness researcher and board consultant Matt Fullbrook, who has more than 20 years’ experience in board governance research at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, and Martyn Chapman, an independent board governance advisor, for a lively conversation about breaking through the status quo of board governance, redefining what board service means, and creating dynamic new environments for group leadership strategic decision-making.

In this webinar, you’ll learn:

  • How to break through the status quo to drive better governance and group decision-making
  • The factors, considerations, and actions board chairs can take to ensure every director succeeds at effectively contributing
  • How boards of any size can challenge the “unwritten rules” of board governance with thoughtful questions and actions

Who is this webinar for?

Successful, effective board meetings are a team effort, and every element of board work can be optimized. This interactive session will be a learning opportunity for anyone who relies on effective board meetings, including:

  • CEOs & Leadership
  • Directors & Board Members
